SHILO

I had a few days off from work as I had the flu but I had a great time at home hand painting these wooden Shilo brooches in enamel paint.

Shilo has always been my favourite Corky character with his round tummy and awesome crown. With his new funky pants he really is the King of Dinosaurs.

The new brooches will be at the shop in the next day or so.

This beautiful anatomical heart locket was first made in 2009 by Melbourne designer Christopher Bril for Corky Saint Clair.

Our anatomical heart locket is based on our own original carving. The clasp closes firmly to securely carry tiny treasures, treats and mementoes.

The pendant is presented on a sterling silver box link chain.

On the coldest winter's day, we reach to our memories of summer to sustain us. Few motifs are as evocative of summer as the pineapple. I found some documentation of a flakey pineapple project I ran this summer - growing a pineapple head in a jar.
