Went to the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the MCA. Absolutely mind blowing. Optical illusions, mirrors + lighting reaching to infinity, hippie sex performance art...shiny finishes, fluoro rendering - imagine all the trendy scenester hippie shit in Australia done better with high end production values.
Worth visiting sydney just for this!

I love Yayoi. I saw most of the stuff that's at the MCA in Brisbane in 2002, that's when I first fell in love with her. Then I Tokyo I saw more of her work, I even own a toy by her.
OMG, my friends and I were so annoyed at the 'no photos' policy, but whenever we got alone in an infinity room we took as many blurry photos as we could!! i wanted to touch everything!!!
