How pretty is Brisbane? We are having heaps of fun at the Brisbane Finders Keepers. Our stall turned out really well. It's not as manic as the Sydney Finders Keepers, but it's just a more laid back city. 

The Brisbane Finders Keepers is in the Old Museum, which is a beautiful building in a lush garden setting. 

The main things I have noticed:

a. demographically, there are more emos and goths in Brisbane than any other city in Australia.

b. I haven't seen a single top knot girl 

c. chelsea boots aren't big here

d. people don't jaywalk

DREAMY

I keep having dreams that we aren't ready for Brisbane Finders Keepers. Now the dreams are getting conflated with being a contestant on Master Chef which makes it really confusing. In the last dream I was microwaving pizza and counting boxes of silver necklaces at the same time; the other contestants were amazed at my technique.

Maybe I just wanted pizza?

There was also the part where I was marching around telling my team to 'step up and give 110%'.

I felt quite emotional watching it, remembering how crazy that night was.

Doing design markets is fun but lots of work. It's kinda like putting on a show. We are doing the Brisbane Finders Keepers on the 26th of June and MarkIt Design Market at Fed Square July 11 and the Big One - Life InStyle August 9, 10, 11, 12.

Corky Saint Clair is travelling Queensland to sell our wares at Finders Keepers Brisbane 2010. We have never been to to that northern city but we hope Brisbane is as amazing as everyone says!

We'll be there from the 25th of June till the 27th so if you are in Brisbane at that time come and say hello.

We had so much fun at the Sydney Finders Keepers. This time we will be much better prepared - like bringing more jewellery, more business cards, more packaging, more signage...basically more of everything. Oh and a mirror might help too.
