SICKNESS

I think I've successfully internalised most of Julianne Moore's performance into my own emotional repetoire.

PRETTY

I am OK with admitting that I am sustained by prettiness.

Corky Saint Clair got so pretty before the accident that sometimes as I was closing I would pull the doors down and spend ten minutes enjoying it by myself.

Everywhere you looked there was something interesting to look at.

The shop isn't there again yet, but it is getting there slowly.

NEED

MCNEIL'S

My First Official Friendship Date with Mcneills - we drank beer, sat outside Moonlight Cinema and got to watch Volver for free, got free icecreams which melted all over our hands 'cos it was so hot.

Later I took this supersweet photo of her.

YAYOI

Went to the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the MCA. Absolutely mind blowing. Optical illusions, mirrors + lighting reaching to infinity, hippie sex performance art...shiny finishes, fluoro rendering - imagine all the trendy scenester hippie shit in Australia done better with high end production values.

Worth visiting sydney just for this!

BEAR

I bought this at Made (Kings Street, Newtown). I love the colours and the little bear spoon.

SYDNEY

This is where Paul Keating lives in Pots Point. Check out the massive Hummer parked out the front. and the random gay guy who wanted to be in the shot

This is where Russell Crowe lives. It was really beautiful. Notice the two gay guys with their groceries. Pretty much 90% of guys in Sydney are fully gay, it's like the law or something.

I stayed in this derro accommodation in Darlinghurst once. The architecture in Sydney is much more interesting than in Melbourne, as a result of the more dramatic geography and weird city layout. I like the triangular shape of the building.

SYDNEY

Stayed in Darlinghurst, round the corner from King's Cross. Baz Luhrman lived next door. Check out his cast iron gates. They were massive, maybe 4m high.

Everyone in Sydney seems to be always seem to be going to the gym or leaving the gym.

It's so beautiful there, I guess you would want to be outside all the time showing as much skin as possible. Which is why Sydney fashion is so retarded. Check out these women I saw in Darlinghurst, which is where the 'scenesters live'

Went to Shopping in Newtown, which is supposed to be like Fitzroy. I did see some lesbians fighting but it wasn't really Fitzroy. Brunswick Street is more affluent, finished and tourist-y.

I liked Made (590 King Street). Found this super cute brooch by Made by White.

My photo
I like rainbows, crystals, coloured pencils, swimming, manifesting, visualising, poetry, going out for breakfast, graphic novels, air conditioning, miniature anything, clothing made from synthetic fabrics, travelling, travelling, staying in nice hotels, headphones, husbears + soft hands. I don't like people who make me feel tired.
