RESCUE

This was a fun project for us with a stylish result for our client. We used the sapphires and diamonds from Connie’s grandma’s ornate ring to build a super cute modern looking band. In this small size our signature five stone ring looks chunky and fun; the gemstones really pop against the silver.

PLANTER

This sculptural piece is a living artwork. I have been growing little plants in crystals for the last decade but this is the first one that we are selling from the shop. This is because we were underground and also because I have been slowly perfecting the technique.

I planted a baby pilea in this amethyst cluster in January 2019. It has been living and growing happily ever since.

Pileas loves the light, they prefer bright indirect sunlight. Putting it outside it might burn if it gets too much sun.

The pilea wants to be watered moderately, but do not overwater it. The Pilea likes to dry out in-between waterings and doesn’t like to stay soggy. We have made it easier for you by suspending the crystal - making watering a simple task. This arrangement could live on your office desk quite easily.

GARNET

If you love deep red colours you can go past this Australian garnet from NSW. We have set it in a stylish custom made sterling silver claw setting. The garnet is 1.85ct. It measures 11mm x 6.5mm. Presented on a 45cm sterling silver curb chain.

Garnets are the birthstone for January.

Australia produces almost half of the world garnets, with the rest mainly coming from India, USA, and China. Garnets have also been extracted from Broken Hill in New South Wales (see Google Arts and Culture) and Harts Ranges in Northern Territory since the 1880s, as a by-product of mining other minerals from metamorphic rocks.

SAPPHIRE

One of my favourite rings we’ve built this year was for Alex in Sydney. 

This minimal 18ct white gold band makes these gemstones sing - the white diamond contrasting with the lush sapphires. We chose a warmer blue to slightly mismatch the ultra vivid centre stone.

Gorgeous every way you look at it. Chris approached us to build this ring for his partner Michelle to celebrate their engagement. They wanted a sturdy but elegant setting for this incredible Australian parti sapphire from Inverell, NSW. The hand carved band is fabricated in 18ct white gold. The sapphire has delightful flashes of electric blue amongst the many shades of blue and yellow. Bellissimo - truly one for lovers of sapphires 

SUNLIGHT

SIZE

Hey Everybody, I thought I'd post this table to make it a bit easier for people looking at our rings online. We use the US sizing system - you can easily find your size by looking at the table.

When secretly sizing a ring for someone else for a gift trace the INSIDE circumference of the ring.

I think it's actually easier to measure the diameter as it's a straight line and then use geometry (remember....high school math?) to calculate the circumference. I have attached a URL if you can't remember.

We do exchanges on incorrect ring sizes and it's fine for the exchange to happen any time up to the 15th of January on all Christmas gifts bought between now and Christmas.

Our Full Moon Pendant is one of most popular pieces in the shop.


We have a new version for 2016 - this year we have had our moonstone cut on BOTH sides of the pendant. It doesn't matter if your pendant flips over, it's pretty on both sides.
