CRYSTAL

	Dear Diary It seems my crystal habit is spinning totally out of control. I love crystals so much, nothing seems to matter when I'm staring at them. Today I bought this stunning "Crystal Teeth" necklace from beloved indie jewellery shop Corky Saint Clair for just $60AUD.  It consists of four quartz points on an 80cm Italian sterling silver chain. I have spent hours playing with the necklace as the quartz teeth spin around the rod that holds them. I always wanted more from my life but maybe crystals are enough. Easter is a very special time of year.

It's a chance to exchange cute animal presents with your friends and eat lots of animal shaped chocolates. Mmmmmm.

SKULL

Excitement grows in the New Age community as the world is due to end with the completion of the current Maya Calendar b'ak'tun-cycle on December 21, 2012.  That's only eight months away. Time to stock up on dry goods, bottled water, magazines and a working can opener.	An integral part of this doomsday prophecy is that legend that the reuniting of thirteen mystical crystal skulls will herald destructive events such as the arrival of the next solar maximum, or Earth's collision with an object such as a black hole, a passing asteroid, or a planet called Nibiru.
Quartz skulls are often claimed to exhibit paranormal phenomena by some members of the New age movement, and have often been portrayed as such in fiction.	Some believers in the paranormal claim that crystal skulls can produce a variety of miracles. Mystic  Anna Mitchell-Hedges claimed that the skull she allegedly discovered could cause visions, cure cancer, that she once used its magical properties to kill a man, and that in another instance, she saw in it a premonition of the John F. Kennedy assassination.
I recently sourced thirteen crystals skulls. We have presented them on an 80cm sterling silver box link chain.

GOLD

Like a lot of craft and fashion in NYC, Gold's Fool make work that riffs on civil war - Cold Mountain - hill billy imagery, but this was a really good version of it.	It is so funny and well made. How sweet are these mini moonshine bottles. They are filled with poppyseeds which I intend to replace with chia seeds when I put them in the shop.

The quality of work at the Fair was unbelievablygood. I liked Gold's Fool the most. I could have bought every single thing in their tent.

BIRDCAGE

Here is our new Sterling silver birdcage with moving bird pendant. It measures 18mm high x 14mm wide. We have presented the cage on an 80cm Italian sterling silver fine curb chain.

BIKE

NIGHT OWL

When you stay up late at night like an owl, you'll need this guy for tea & company in the fast approaching winter season. He loves gently bathing in your favourite tea cup or mug with your favourite infusion.

TREASURE

The New Corky Solid Silver Treasure Chest Locket has finally arrived. It is so beautiful. What treasures could you place in your chest for your beloved?  Tiny gems, tiny photos, tiny seashells, love letters, pills, thrills + love.
I've put some tumbled faceted citrines in mine. The stones don't come with the necklace...I placed them there to show you how functional as a container the new piece is.     We have put the Treasure Chest on our new 80cm box link chain. It is stronger and thicker than some of the finer chains we have used in the past.
The wood grain came up well.
